Good little film.

My parents bought me an Apple 2GS when I was 8. I remember writing little programs to draw graphics and have text conversations in AppleSoft Basic. A few years later, I used early desktop publishing software to layout a newsletter that I sold at school. These tasks were not that much different from what I do today for my career.

Code.org is a non-profit foundation dedicated to growing computer programming education.

Upstairs at Eric's has one of my favorite Album covers.  It just reminds me so much of the "new wave" / "dark dance" era that our older sisters hipped us to.  Stark, minimal, dehumanized and cold; Just like the electronics that provide contrast to Alison Moyet's warm vocal.
