Please Contact Your Alderman Today
Dear Farm Sanctuary Member,
A historic proposal to end the sale of foie gras in the City of Chicago is just a few votes away from becoming law, and we need your help now more than ever to pass this humane measure.
Please call your Alderman today and urge him/her to vote yes on the ordinance to end the sale of foie gras in Chicago.
If you do not know which Ward you live in or need to find your Alderman's phone number and fax number, please call the City of Chicago's information line at 311 or 312-744-5000. Give the operator your home address and he/she will be able to connect you directly to your Alderman's office.
You can also download our petition (.pdf) and fax it to your Alderman's office.
It is crucial that you contact your Alderman as soon as possible to express your support for this humane ordinance. With your help, we can end the sale of foie gras in the City of Chicago.
Thank you for caring and helping to make a difference.
Sincerely,
Gene Bauston,
President, Farm Sanctuary
